Project Info

Organic growth for a Mexico real estate marketplace. Buyer intent SEO, technical fixes, and authority content. 2.5x impressions YoY. +98% clicks. 40 new buyers a month. +95k monthly revenue. Organic became the top lead source in six months.

Client

MexHome, a Sayulita based Mexico real estate platform. Markets include Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Cabo, La Paz, and Tulum. Homes, condos, and land. Bilingual agents and market guides.

The Challenge: Paid spend up, organic underperforming

MexHome was spending 10k per month on paid social with a 1.5 ROAS. Sales were inconsistent. They needed a reliable source of qualified leads from search.

Key SEO challenges included:

  • Low Map Pack visibility for office locations and market terms

  • Few nonbranded rankings for city and property type searches

  • Thin market, neighborhood, and property pages that missed buyer intent and FAQs

  • Mobile speed and layout shifts hurting calls and form starts

  • Index bloat from faceted, tag, and parameter URLs that hid priority pages

  • Weak internal links from market hubs to neighborhoods and listings

  • Limited authority signals, few quality links and recent reviews

Core obstacle
Replace unstable paid results with steady organic lead flow without raising ad spend.

How Strategic SEO Turned Visibility Into Leads

We rebuilt MexHome’s search foundation. We optimized GBP and market pages, fixed speed and crawl issues, and added trust assets. Clear paths from markets to neighborhoods to listings turned searchers into buyers across PV, Riviera Nayarit, Cabo, La Paz, and Tulum.

Strategy 1 - Local SEO Optimization

We built a local engine so buyers find MexHome in each market. Strong local signals drive qualified leads.

  • Google Business Profiles: Cleaned categories, service areas, hours, photos, and descriptions for Sayulita HQ and key offices.

  • Geo Keyword Targeting: Mapped city and neighborhood modifiers to intent terms like homes for sale Puerto Vallarta and condos Bucerías.

  • Market and Neighborhood Pages: Launched unique pages for Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, Sayulita, Bucerías, Punta Mita, Nuevo Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, La Paz, and Tulum with FAQs and clear CTAs.

  • NAP Accuracy: Synced name, address, and phone across major directories and data sources.

  • Reviews and Q&A: Installed a steady review request flow and added Q&A to improve click rate and trust.

  • Profile Content Refresh: Published new photos and weekly updates to lift actions on profiles.

  • Attribution Setup: Added UTM tags to phone links and buttons to track Map Pack leads.

Outcome, higher local visibility, more calls and forms, better Map Pack coverage across priority markets.

Strategy 2 – Technical SEO & Website Optimization

We fixed speed, Core Web Vitals, and crawl issues. Clean templates and clear signals helped pages rank and convert.

  • Core Web Vitals: Improved LCP and CLS on listing and guide templates. Compressed media and lazy loaded images.

  • Speed and CDN: Added caching and file minification. Served images as WebP and routed assets through a CDN.

  • Structured Data: Added Organization, LocalBusiness, Product for listings, BreadcrumbList, and FAQ where applicable.

  • Indexing and Parameters: Cleaned sitemaps. Blocked faceted, tag, and parameter URLs from indexing. Set canonicals on variants.

  • Crawl Budget: Used logs and Search Console to remove low value paths. Prioritized markets, neighborhoods, and top listings.

  • Internal Links: Built hubs from markets to neighborhoods to listings. Added breadcrumbs and next steps on each page.

  • Language Signals: Standardized English and Spanish versions. Implemented hreflang and consistent language switchers.

  • 404s and Redirects: Fixed broken links and consolidated duplicates with 301s.

  • Security and Stability: Enforced HTTPS and resolved mixed content.

This work raised crawl efficiency, cut index bloat, and lifted conversions from faster, clearer pages.

Strategy 3 – Content Creation & Authority Building

We built useful market content and proof assets that answer buyer questions and earn trust.

  • Buyer Guides: Step by step guides on buying in Mexico, closing costs, taxes, financing, and ownership structures.

  • Neighborhood Spotlights: Pages for key areas with amenities, schools, price bands, and nearby beaches.

  • Listings and Category Copy: Clear descriptions and filters for condos, homes, and land to improve relevance and CTR.

  • FAQs and Schema: Market specific FAQs added to key pages with FAQ schema to win rich results.

  • Case Studies and UGC: Success stories, recent sales, and on site reviews to support conversions.

  • Outreach and Digital PR: Features in real estate and expat publications. HARO quotes to earn high authority links.

  • Competitor Link Gap: Targeted outreach to sites linking to competitors but not MexHome.

  • Lead Magnets: Downloadable checklists and email capture on guides to nurture buyers.

This content deepened topical authority, lifted rankings on non branded terms, and increased qualified inquiries.
